About me

Hi! I'm Frida, a curious and creative person who thrives when I get to combine people, ideas and development, both professionally and personally. I grew up close to nature and animals, and from an early age I have been deeply interested in understanding people and the world around me. I am especially drawn to what shapes us, connects us and helps us feel seen and understood.
In short, I am someone who finds energy in meaningful relationships, lifelong learning and creative expression, and I am always looking for new ways to grow and contribute.
Take a look further down to learn more about my upbringing and interests!
My upbringing
I grew up in a small village on the west coast of Norway, surrounded by nature, close-knit communities and a calm way of life. As a child, I was always curious and engaged in all kinds of hobbies, mostly because I enjoyed being around people. For me, the social part was always the most fun, no matter the activity.
From an early age, I also became known as the go-to person in the family whenever something needed to be fixed – especially if it involved technology. Internet issues? Call Frida. New phone but no contacts? Call Frida. Need to order something online? You guessed it – call Frida. I became the unofficial family IT-support, and I still love it.
Looking back, I see that these moments shaped a part of who I am today. I enjoy figuring things out, being helpful and making sure others feel taken care of. It has made me someone people trust, and someone who naturally takes responsibility when something needs to get done.
My interests
Being Social

I truly enjoy bringing people together. Hosting dinners, planning everything from small gatherings to vacations, and creating memorable moments with friends are things that come naturally to me. I find joy in shaping the details, from setting the mood to preparing the food , and seeing people connect in a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
These are some of the same qualities I bring into HR: fostering collaboration, inclusion and a sense of belonging at work.
Creativity
Creativity influences the way I approach both work and everyday life. I’m drawn to experiences that involve aesthetic awareness, human connection and thoughtful problem-solving. My creative interests have taught me to see details, adapt to different situations and find practical ways to turn ideas into action. These are qualities that also shape how I work with people, projects and communication.

Art
My interest in art started early. My dad used to take us to galleries and museums both at home and abroad when we were on vacation. Today, visiting exhibitions is one of my favourite ways to unwind.
Whenever I travel, I make sure to explore local museums and galleries. I find that they offer a deeper understanding of a country’s history and culture, and give valuable insight into the context and values that shape everyday life.
Interior and renovation
Over the past year, I have managed a full renovation of our apartment – from initial planning and budgeting to coordinating contractors and making design decisions. Taking full ownership of the process gave me valuable hands-on experience in project management, creative problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
For me, interior design is not just about style, but about shaping environments that support everyday life and well-being. A home should reflect who you are, and I take pride in creating spaces where people feel welcome and comfortable.

Makeup
I also have a background as a makeup artist. While I no longer work within the field, it taught me a lot about people. When you spend your day face-to-face with strangers, you learn quickly how to connect, I often say I could strike up a conversation with a rock if I had to.
It’s a smaller part of my creative side, but one that has sharpened my people skills and taught me the value of presence and communication.
Travel

Travel is one of my greatest passions. It allows me to explore new perspectives, step outside the familiar and stay curious about the world. I enjoy learning through people, places and everyday experiences in new environments. Whether it is visiting local markets, observing cultural customs or walking through unfamiliar streets, travel teaches me to adapt, listen and remain open.
During my bachelor’s degree, I chose to go on exchange to Hawaii. Living and studying in a different cultural context gave me valuable insight into diversity, communication and everyday life outside my own frame of reference. It was a formative experience that continues to influence how I relate to people and situations, both personally and professionally.
These experiences have deepened my understanding of different ways of living and strengthened my cultural awareness. It is a way of learning that goes beyond books and classrooms, and it continues to shape how I engage with the world around me.
